      <description><![CDATA[<br />
We do things differently down here in the south at Christmastime.<br />
As a northern transplant, it took quite a few years for me to get used to this green Christmas thing. It certainly is odd to see Christmas lights in palm trees or wear my flip flops to the Mall shopping for sunscreen to stuff into stockings.<br />
But after a while, you start to get used to it. Sitting in the pool on Christmas Eve helps. Or not owning an ice scraper or looking for a single lost mitten. <br />
But it is <I>different</I>?<br />
Over the next couple of weeks, I?d like to share with you all how we do a Tropical Cool Yule here in the Sunshine State. We?ve got some strange--yet fun--traditions and activities that prove Christmas doesn?t have to be white in order to be merry.<br />
&nbsp;<br />
This video is from our friend Michelle at Walt Disney World. She and her daughters meet with a pastry chef showing how Disney does gingerbread, and how you can make houses (on a smaller scale) at home.<br />
Enjoy!]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Some elections may be over--some are still being recounted--but there?s one that?s still got one more day of voting to go?<br />
November 20th is the last day for voting for your favorite <a href="<a href="http://generationhuggies.com/" target="_blank">http://generationhuggies.com/</a>">Generation Huggies Mom videos!</a> These are those wonderful candid clips from real Moms who talk about their journey through motherhood. <br />
There?s still time to submit your own candidacy. Simply upload a 60 second video from your webcam or camcorder reflecting on your experiences and you, too, can be eligible for the national ad campaign that will feature these amazing videos. If you are a Mom, you can approve of this message.<br />
And while you?re on <a href="<a href="http://generationhuggies.com/" target="_blank">http://generationhuggies.com/</a>">GenerationHuggies.com,</a> you still have time (November 30th) to enter that $30,000 sweepstakes. (talk about a sweet bailout?)<br />
So go out and vote for something we can all support--Motherhood!]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[From <a href="http://subdivablog.blogspot.com/2008/10/huggies-weekend-wrap-up.html" target="_blank">http://subdivablog.blogspot.com/2008/10/huggies-weekend-wrap-up.html</a> I am now back behind the computer in a dark room with ?Yo Gabba Gabba? serenading me in the background rather than the exotic locations of the last 3 days. Bummer, ?cause I was kind of getting used to being the ?celebrity blogger.?And now I will attempt to blog about blogging, which hurts my head a little, but I will blog on.Basically, I was a part of this <a href="http://generationhuggies.com/" target="_blank">http://generationhuggies.com/</a>  promotion honoring Huggies 30th Anniversary. This mobile Huggies unit is going around the country registering Moms to win $30,000 (that?s dollars, not diapers) and film these 60 second interviews with real Moms about Mom stuff. I was able to talk to these amazing women and blog, text, video, and email photos to this really cool site <a href="http://www.themotherhood.com/" target="_blank">http://www.themotherhood.com/</a>  It was so unique. (And as an aside, you can still do all of this online at GenerationHuggies.com)<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKA0aAOR8I/AAAAAAAAATk/Ostbr-1zNik/s1600-h/002.JPG" target="_blank">http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKA0aAOR8I/AAAAAAAAATk/Ostbr-1zNik/s1600-h/002.JPG</a> The first night was in Celebration at an Oktoberfest. The girls and some brave friends accompanied me there. It was really fun night.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKBpchidAI/AAAAAAAAATs/14-CnvcNhZo/s1600-h/003.JPG" target="_blank">http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKBpchidAI/AAAAAAAAATs/14-CnvcNhZo/s1600-h/003.JPG</a> On Saturday, the crowd was smaller because we were in a different location, but we still got some good stuff. I got to talk with the crew that was traveling from city to city, and they were amazed at the diverse responses from all of the Moms (and some Dads!) they had interviewed so far.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKBznWbPkI/AAAAAAAAAT0/JHHTzl3vbKw/s1600-h/009.JPG" target="_blank">http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKBznWbPkI/AAAAAAAAAT0/JHHTzl3vbKw/s1600-h/009.JPG</a> Sunday we spent at the Winter Park Art Festival, which was bustling with thousands of families! We had no trouble finding lots of Moms who wanted to share their stories and answer my questions and pose for photos.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKB_uroAXI/AAAAAAAAAT8/eQAouD-ihjk/s1600-h/017.JPG" target="_blank">http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKB_uroAXI/AAAAAAAAAT8/eQAouD-ihjk/s1600-h/017.JPG</a> On the long ride home (which may be the most collective hours I?ve spent alone in 4 years) I listened to a lot of eighties music and thought about what this whirlwind weekend was all about.*corny maternal reflection alert*Watching the creation of this mosaic of motherhood was pretty fabulous, and while it is amazing how different motherhood looks on different people, it is more amazing still how universal it is.And, just so you don?t think I?ve totally become a Hallmark card:<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKCJCq6T7I/AAAAAAAAAUE/TzyAcu7psDo/s1600-h/019.JPG" target="_blank">http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_-pGyMsw5JFQ/SPKCJCq6T7I/AAAAAAAAAUE/TzyAcu7psDo/s1600-h/019.JPG</a> From the Generation Huggies Event in Orlando--The End.<br />
