Amy M. The three days I spent covering the Generation Huggies event in Chicago were such a whirlwind! I didn't want to miss a minute of everything that was going on. As I sit here, now that the tour has packed up and is heading east, I am thinking about some of my conversations with local moms. One conversation I had that hit home for me was one that revolved around work/life balance. I know first-hand how difficult that can be. The mom I spoke with told me how she worked late hours until shortly after her baby was born. She realized that being away so much from her family and new baby was taking a toll on her.For some, becoming a mother really opens your eyes as to doing what is best for you.

Becki It's so hard sometimes to do everything you want to do for your family. I feel that way, and I don't even work outside the home right now. I feel like obligations are squeezing me tighter every day; I can only imagine how other moms feel.

It was fabulous seeing Emily again! I wish Cooper could have made it, too. We had such a gorgeous and fun day at Navy Pier with Generation Huggies. I wish we could do this all of the time!

Amy M. We're here at the Lincoln Park Zoo and there are plenty of moms and kids around. I'm going to sit in on some interviews today to find out what exactly these moms are talking about.Hailey is with me and just taking in the whole experience. She'd rather go look at the lions than hang out at the van but I promised her a stuffed something or other if she is *good*. Hmmm...what is the definition of "good"?

Thank you so much for making the effort to make that great big trek!!! It was such a gorgeous day and the picture of your beautiful kids playing in the leaves and hanging out and chit chatting just captures the day for me!!!!!!!!
