Sign up here if you want to be in a coupon train. And then PRIVATE message me your address! Not sure how it works? Person A clips her coupons and then sends what she doesn't need to Person B. Person B clips her coupons (from her newspaper and from what Person A sent her) and then sends what she doesn't want to Person C. Person C does the same thing and sends her unwanteds to Person D, and then Person D sends them to Person A. That way, we are all getting them from someone and sending them to someone. The theory being if I can't use it, and the second person can't use it, maybe the third of fourth can and less coupons will go to waste and we can all do better on our budgets! People can come and go as they please - so feel free to jump in tomorrow or next month or next year. And just let me know when you need to bow out.I will be in charge of the master list and will post here any additions or updates or changes as they occur!

over 2 years agoby Tara Kuczykowski on September 2, 2009I’ve teamed up with Propel® and DivineCaroline to write a series of inspiring and motivational posts to encourage women to enhance and streamline their lives. Propel’s mission is to enhance your life, give you the ability to move through obstacles and live a more streamlined, energetic life. I cringe every time I hear someone say, “Why bother using coupons? All that clipping and hassle to save just a few cents . . . “ Chances are if you’re reading this post, you already know the amazing savings potential of coupons, but for those of you that may be on the fence, I just want to share what a powerful financial tool coupons can be. We struggled for many years to get our finances in order. Having five children within the span of five years was never our intent, but it was a blessing we welcomed with open arms. When I lost my job at 7.5 months pregnant with our first child, I was thrust into the position of being a stay-at-home mom. Couponing wasn’t a choice at that time; it was a necessity. As a first-year pipefitter’s apprentice, my husband’s wages barely covered our budget. Back then I used the Grocery Game to plan my shopping trips, and it felt good to be able to contribute something to our household finances in the way of big savings at the grocery store. Fast-forward seven years through four more children and three layoffs, and we’ve been through even tougher times. Coupons were crucial to making it through those years that were such a struggle. With the advent of money-saving blogs, I was able to learn even more tips for saving, and I found that not only could I keep my pantry well stocked, but I was also able to give back to others by donating items that we could not use. Today coupons are no longer a necessity for meeting our family’s budget, but I continue to use them. Why? Because the savings potential is much more than just a couple of cents here and there. Learning how to maximize our savings through coupons and careful budgeting has allowed us to build a substantial emergency fund, something I never thought we’d be able to do. Even more amazing than that, through the Cash For Clunkers program and a generous dealer incentive, we were recently able to purchase a new car with cash. I can’t even describe how good it felt to walk into that dealership knowing we had the upper hand and were in full control of our purchase.Continue reading http://www.dealseekingmom.com/the-power-of-coupons/

I can't believe it the Harlem Globe Trotters are touring again and will be coming to the TD Banknorth Gardens Saturday at 7:30 pm. March 27 and Sunday the 28th in Boston at 1:00 pm. = ) I might just make both shows! I have followed these talented players since I was a kid! Do you remember when they had the Saturday morning cartoons? That was a blast from the past. That was over 30 years ago and I think its safe to say their longevity proves that they put on an incredible show that is entertaining for all ages and known for great audience participation. I really enjoyed going to see them and I think my kids would love to see them. Another family tradition added to our list. With February vacation passing us and to chase away the winter blues I think it would be a great time to take the family, neighbors and friends to a show. With not much happening in March this would be a great date to circle on your calendar. Tickets are already on sale! I work for Miles on Market (milesonmarketing.com) and was given a promotional code to save 7.00 on tickets! I thought it would be nice to pass the savings onto other Mom's and Dad's out there! All you need to do is type the word MOM during checkout (some restrictions may apply)• This information has been provided to me by the Harlem Globetrotters.” The Harlem Globetrotters’ 2010 “Magical Memories” World Tour is the place to be on 3/27/10 Saturday at 7:30pm and 3/28/10 Sunday at 1pm in Boston, MA at the TD Banknorth Garden Your ticket link for the 3/27 show is: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0100436D8BEA52F7?artistid=806223&camefrom =CFC_BUYAT_infinityprotickets Your ticket link for the 3/28 show is: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0100436D8BE652F1?artistid=806223&camefrom =CFC_BUYAT_infinityprotickets

Couponing to the extreme on TLC! And you thought paying attention to grocery store sales was enough. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for some “Extreme Couponing.” For those of you who caught TLC’s special on December 29, you’ve already witnessed the money-saving shenanigans on this reality show, which has just been ordered as a full season, according to Entertainment Weekly. The “Extreme Couponing” special followed four of the nation’s most hardcore coupon clippers, one of whom is so serious with her coupon game that she paid only $2.64 for more than $600 worth of items. The hour-long show was watched by 2.1 million, and now 12 more half-hour episodes are on the way. “'Extreme Couponing’ captured the audience’s attention because it taps into people’s desire to live a better life without spending more money," TLC president Eileen O’Neill says in a statement. “The series will share even more tips and profile passionate people who have turned clipping coupons into a way of life." A coupon a day means you can put the scissors away USAToday.com - Wendy Nelson's "gateway into a bad habit," as she puts it, sounds innocent enough: a Stanley three-in-one LED flashlight bundled with two keychain flashlights — $24.95 for the whole shebang — that she scooped up as a birthday present for her husband two years ago off Woot, the housewares-heavy daily deal site. Coming up is a facial and massage as a treat for her wedding anniversary. But these days — when an ad for daily-deal titan Groupon teases, "All your savvy friends are paying half" — "do you really need an excuse (to splurge)?" asks Nelson, 57. "It might be Flag Day." The coupon is cool, having shed its stigma thanks to the rise of sites including Groupon, LivingSocial, Thrillist and Lifebooker, which lure bargain hunters with often achingly cheeky ads (In search of an off-price gynecology exam? "Look out below!"). Also helping is the popularity of the TLC show Extreme Couponing, which wraps its first season June 15. Twentysomethings use them, as do relatively wealthy people — and guys. iPhones are checked first thing in the morning for the day's discounts. Romances are kindled over daily-deal restaurant dates, often at pricey places couples couldn't otherwise afford. Vacations and honeymoons are planned around boutique hotels and unique activities dug up from daily-deal sites. Christmas lists get ticked off thanks to clicking, not clipping. And with no flipping or snipping required, the modern coupon is relatively hassle- and pain-free: Instead of subjecting themselves to ink-stained and paper-cut fingers, today's discount devotees merely need to flash an image of their purchased deal from their Droid X. "No matter how much money you make, you always love a great deal," says Doug Clinton, a research analyst who tracks the daily-deal industry for Piper Jaffray, an investment bank. "There's not a stigma attached to pulling out a Groupon vs. pulling out a coupon you clipped from the newspaper. That makes you look totally out of touch."
