I got a funny sugestion from a 4 year old at work today, he said that I should dress up as a baked potato for halloween. Not sure how I'm gonna pull it off, but I'm doing it! I think it will involve one of those foil emergency blankets (supposed to be tin foil!)
about 1 year agoHas anyone else noticed the uhm, inappropriate costumes for girls (tweens/teenagers)? What's going on with this trend? I'm so glad my daughter still likes to make her costumes. K-

about 1 year agoI want to congratulate Max for winning the prize for the cutest costume in the Halloween parade yesterday! Max is the son of TheMotherhood member "LoveThatMax" and has special needs. He's never liked Halloween. Ellen wrote an article in Redbook this month on Max and Halloween, "Just Call Us Halloweenies" - http://www.redbookmag.com/kids-family/advice/halloween-story Ellen and Max, you are indeed Halloweenies no more!!!! Reminding myself that searching for a blue Power Ranger costume for a boy that doesn't fit into child-sized costume, isn't so bad. For you mommas of daughters, I feel for you.
