This is Rhonda.  She just finished her interview with Luke (one of the amazing Gereration Huggies camera men) and when she came out, she was crying because she became so emotional when she was asked what motherhood means to her.  It is her first time away from her 2 boys (ages 2 and 6 months) and she admitting to missing them terribly.I, of course, had to swat Luke for making a mom cry.  ;-)

We sure do know how to wear out those babies!  Here is just one of many of the adorable little ones we were able to coo over.

Meet Angela.  She is one of the people working with the Generation Huggies team. She's one of the big cheeses.  We clicked quickly and not just because she fed me.  She is fun, funny and great at her job.  (And local-ish.)When you see her in the remaining Generation Huggies cities, give her a shout out from Jenn!

Well, the time has come for me to wrap up my coverage of the Generation Huggies Dallas tour.  This has been the hardest to write because a recap means it is over and time to move on.  I loved doing this so much I don't want it to end. There is a saying that every mom has a different and unique story to tell.   As I met hundreds of moms and listened to their stories, I found that to be one of life's greatest truths. I found that out first hand this weekend.I was moved to tears by some stories and laughed until I almost peed myself at others.  I found stories I could relate to on a personal level and heard stories that I could never imagine but learned so much from hearing them.  Every mom, grandmother, child and dad there touched me in one way or another. What this http://generationhuggies.com/ tour is doing is awesome and powerful.  Not only are they celebrating 30 years of Huggies, they truly are celebrating moms.  A well deserved celebration. At times I sat in on some interviews to help nervous moms see that it feels good to talk about motherhood to a group that cares.   I learned more about moms and their stories in one weekend than I possibly could have in a year had I not been at the Generation Huggies Dallas event. From the Generation Huggies team to the moms I met and their kids, everything about this event blessed me.I strongly encourage you if the tour is coming to your city (still up Chicago and Philadelphia) that you go and take part in this event.  You will enjoy it, meet new people and enjoy being celebrated as a mom.  If you are not in these cities, sign up to follow the Generation Huggies circles and read and watch and listen to the stories of other moms.  Then?  Take part here at theMotherhood and become a part of the amazing circle of moms that are here.  You can also go to the http://generationhuggies.com/ site and submit your own video to get a shot at being in their new add featuring 30 real moms talking about real motherhood and have a chance to enter a sweepstakes where you can win $30,000.  How great is that?!  I encourage all of you to submit a video for this.  It is fun and it makes you think about what motherhood means to you!I could continue to post images and videos and stories for days, but it is time to wrap things up.  I will post a link to the Flickr group so you can see the pictures that I did not post here.  I hope you got a good taste of how wonderful these events are. To say the weekend was life changing sounds so gushy and dramatic-- I know-- however, this weekend?  It was life changing for me.  Thank you, Cooper & Emily and the Generation Huggies team for an amazing experience!

Check out these videos out at Generation Huggies.com. Click the Winners Gallery Tab and see listen to what these women had to say about Motherhood. As I eagerly watched through the videos, I was thrilled to find one of the moms that I met at the Texas State Fair. Her name is Britt. She was so nice and so kind! I adored her immediately. Imagine my delight to see that she was one of the chosen winners of hundreds of entries. Britt will be featured in a national ad campaign for Huggies. Meet Britt from the Dallas area.
