Association for Research on Mothering (ARM)
This circle is to introduce members to The Association for Research on Mothering (ARM), which is the first international feminist organization devoted specifically to the topic of mothering-motherhood. Our mandate is to provide a forum for the discussion and dissemination of research on motherhood and to establish a community of individuals and institutions working and researching in the area of mothering and motherhood.

that there should be an organization devoted to the study of motherhood. Politicians and others love to pay lip service to how important motherhood is. What other group is talked about and dissected and criticized the way mothers are, without being truly studied? I look forward to reading more. Thanks for creating this group
