Has anyone else been reading up on how the CCHR and the Church of Scientology are demanding Congress drop the MOTHERS Act- saying that it’s only being used to push more new mom onto meds!!! I wrote up a bit about it on my blog but I was wondering what everyone else thought? PPD and maternal mental health gets so much negative press b/c of Scientology’s criticism.

I had not heard about this. The idea of it disappoints me so much, though. It’s so hard, being a new mom, and/or struggling with PPD, so hard to ask for help. The last thing women in those circumstances need is more criticism and disapproval.
