What are some of your favorite classic books? I’m in the middle of personal challenges – one of which is to read 20 classic books and so I need some good recommendations! =)

My favorite “classics” are mostly kids’ books. I love Little Women, and, of more recent vintage, The Phantom Tollbooth. I hope kids’ books count toward your challenge!

Oh, I can count whatever in the world I want to! SInce it’s just a challenge I put on myself – I get to make up the rules! I just have “Read 20 classics” on my 101 in 1001 list!
I already read one: The Pilgrim’s Progress. Very interesting! And I have two here I checked out from the library to read too.
I have never read Little Women OR The Phantom Tollboth. However, you just made me remember the movie! I LOVED that movie. We watched it at school and I wanted to take it home so badly!
I am so going to see if the library has it and then maybe I can read the book/watch the movie with my kids!!!
