SAHM looking to go back to work--any advice?

Before I had my second child, I was working as an attorney. It wasn’t a great situation, so I was relieved to take a break and stay at home. Now my daughter is getting ready to go into first grade, and I’m thinking of going back to work. Trouble is, I’ve let what few connections I had in the legal field wither away, and I have this gaping, six year hole in my resume. I’m looking for any advice anyone can offer about getting back into the workplace.
