It’s simply not in the budget. I’m amazed at how many people do manage to go, though, and I’m wondering how “important’ you have to be as a blogger to go. I mean, there are blog rock stars-
everybody knows Dooce and Finslippy-and then there are thousands of people like me who get about 50 hits a day, mostly from family and friends.
Is anybody else going, and does anybody else have a bloggy inferiority complex like mine?

I’m not going either.
And I got over my bloggy inferiority complex a long time ago! I am lucky if I get 20 hits a day! So I don’t even dare compete with the big leagues (which truthfully I am NOT a writer and didn’t ever start the blog thinking I’d ever get a lot of hits each day). But sometimes I feel a bit down about not having more readers, but then I think – people I have never met in real life actually check my blog and that’s kind of cool! =)
Anyway, I think going to blogher might make me feel sad because no one would know who I was LOL I’d be the girl with the blog no one reads.
Either way, it’s not really in our budget either. Of course if I had to go for, you know work related purposes :::wink, wink:::: heading towards Emily and Cooper – well, I’d figure out a way to get there LOL! =)

On further reflection, maybe it’s good not to be a blog rockstar—I didn’t feel like blogging for about a week, and didn’t feel the pressure of my adoring masses to do so!

LOL! Sometimes it’s nice to be under the radar … taking breaks when needed. And then of course, less chance that you will be attacked for something you’ve said! Which happens rarely, but does happen!
