Jenn C just sent me a link to these amazing paper animals — and there are instructions! and lots more animals than I have room to showcase! The site is hosted by Yamaha Motors. I'm not clear on what the connection is between Yamaha and these gorgeous paper creations, but I've decided I'm not going to think too hard about it. Thanks Jenn!

Tips of the day on eldercare.
Posted 1 day ago
You might consider taking the senior citizen with you during the touring phase, so you can see how comfortable they are and if they like the facility. It is most important that the person who is to be at adult day care learns to recognize the facility and to enjoy his or her time at the center. Introduce your loved one to the staff, and other participants.

We're moms. We work all day, bring home the bacon, and fry it up in a pan. Oh, and while we're at it, we're raising young children, along with our spouses/partners. As any working mom knows, we often battle the big "G." Guilt creeps up on us when we least expect it. Join us in our ongoing struggle to resist the guilt and embrace the journey.

Please welcome guest author Garrett McCord of Vanilla Garlic who shares his recipe for some of the best cupcakes we've ever had. ~Elise

It's Blog the Recession month - whee, a very cool idea from Kristin, one of my favorite bloggers whom I was too intimidated to say hi to at BlogHer. Okay, that's not totally true, but she did look busy. Funny side note, though, I grabbed an old laptop case of mine, and lo and behold what was in there but the condoms she passed out last year. Her hi's from last year were good enough for me.

Thankfully, you don't have to be President to lead on an issue, and in this day and age, it may be easier if you are not.
