I’m thinking of e-mailing a bunch of friends and neighbors and seeing if they’d be willing to link our families together to do a number of projects to help the community and beyond. I’m thinking social events where the whole family could participate, like serving dinnner at the Ronald McDonald House, or Family-to-Family “Birthday Giving Parties,” (see Family-to-Family in the link list for this group), and some just for the moms, like Bead for Life or Dining for Women parties. I just think it would be nice to get together socially, and do something really helpful at the same time. Do you think people will go for it?
