Then I realized it was summer and we weren't quite focused enough to do an academic unit so we did a summer fun version of an Olympic study. We based our day on the hands-on Olympic exhibit at the children's museum. The girls competed (against themselves) in long jump, vertical jumping, hurdles, hockey, basketball, and more.
