Another plug to read labels. You can't rely on the manufacturer's advertising: fragrance free doesn't mean that the product doesn't have masking fragrance added to cover up a bad odor - all it means is that the product has no noticeable odor. SImilarly, hypoallergenic has no regulatory meaning - it means basically what the manufacturer says it means. And the term "organic" can appear in company or product name without having any organic products in the product itself. I've got an interesting study on Johnson's ultimate baby wash on my website.

Keep in mind that the FDA does not preapprove or test ingredients before they can be used in cosmetics. Cosmetic companies can use virtually any ingredients that they want. The FDA has banned 9 ingredients, while the EU has banned more than 1,100.
