This was very informative and I thank the hosts, the co-hosts and the Motherhood for helping children out around the country.

Kellogg and Action for Healthy Kids will be with us through LIVE video feed on March 1, 2011, at 11:30 am ET to tell us more about the amazing "Share Your Breakfast" program. Nearly one in four kids in America struggle with hunger. Kellogg is asking people to take a picture of their breakfast and share it at ShareYourBreakfast.com or text a photo of your breakfast (or a description!) using the word "Share" to 21534. When you share your breakfast, Kellogg, through its partnership with Action For Healthy Kids, will share a breakfast with a child who needs it. Please join Trinh Le, senior brand manager at Kellogg, and Dr. Reginald Washington, chair of the board of Action for Healthy Kids, to chat about the program and what they are doing to help share breakfast with children who might otherwise miss out, and to fight childhood hunger in the United States.

Is there education for families through Action for Healthy Kids? It is great that we can share breakfast with them, but I think that prevention and education is also a way to combat this epidemic. As someone who grew up knowing that some days my only meal would be the one coming from my free lunch at school, I think this is so important.

I know growing up when I was hungry my parents would get upset when the found out that I ate somewhere, I think more because of shame than anything else, do you find that families don't want to share that they can't give their children breakfast and what can we do to help ease these parents fears?

My 13 year old has never been much of a breakfast eater so I started doing things for breakfast that wasn't "breakfast" foods. It worked well for us.

Not sure how long I will get to stay here, I have a very energetic 11 week old puppy running crazy circles around everywhere and chasing the cat, but I will try to stay as long as I can because this is such a great program!

my oldest is going to be 16 next month and she is in 10th grade. She brought home a huge stack of papers the other day from some colleges that were visiting her school. My heart did sink a little but I am excited for her.
