JillSimpson I know everyone's musical tastes are different, but I thought it might be fun to recommend new(ish) songs you've heard and are loving. Right now I'm listening to (courtesy of my little brother, who's much more up on music, and WFUV.org, my favorite local college radio station): In My Arms by Teddy ThompsonSilver Lining by Rilo KileyChasing Pavements by Adele100 Yard Dash by Raphael SaadiqAs you might guess, I love upbeat music for the gym and R&B, Soul, etc.And if you haven't tried it out, the Genius feature on iTunes is a very cool way to make a playlist in a minute. I've used it for parties, the gym, etc. and it's amazing--you check a few songs that you love that are the kind of hthing you want to play, and it automatically creates a playlist using all the music already in your library (it can also suggest new stuff, but I haven't found that as useful yet).

rockandrollmama Hi Jill! I love Rilo Kiley. Will have to check out the others! Right now I'm really loving Lykke Li and Santogold. Am going to see Lykke tomorrow night, yeah! Thnks for sharing.:)

Cooper What a great convo idea! My kids take over on the iPod downloads so I have to do the Genius search and find my own kind of favs. I'm looking at my "most recent" on my iPod and see my daughter added Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall.
