Dawn Camp I've always wanted to grow blueberries or blackberries, but didn't know how complicated it would be or how likely that my kids would stain everything with them. :-)

MammaLoves I feel the same way. I know you need to have more than variety to grow blueberries. It seems so overwhelming.

rjlight One thing you need to be careful with -- blackberries can be invasive. They send down shoots all over the garden. There is a french variety I had in Spain that was more contained. The variety I had in my garden last year was a nuisance.

Here is a link with how to information for growing blackberries...http://www.ehow.com/how_2001_grow-blackberries-raspberries.htmlSuccessfully growing blueberries may bit a little bit more difficult.
