  • Amy M. I slept almost all night! I think I only woke up once, at 5:30 am. It has literally been weeks since I have had a full night of sleep. My anxiety has played a big part in that. I had been anticipating my appointment with the specialist, which I had yesterday morning. At this appointment, they checked the baby's organs and checked me, for signs of preterm labor. Everything looks good! I'm starting Progesterone shots this week, to help relax my stomach muscles and assist in the prevention of preterm labor. Finding out the sex of the baby also took a lot off my mind. I know, it sounds kind of goofy. I was even the one who wanted to wait for the surprise at the end of the pregnancy. Well, I was easily swayed and then just became really anxious to know. We're having another lovely little girl. This will be our last child and although it would have been nice to experience motherhood of both boy and girl, I am completely fine with having another girl. Plus, I can already see how much fun Hailey is going to have with her new little sister. I never had a sister, so it will be fun for me to watch them grow up together. Yes, I realize it won't be all roses all of the time. :)
