16 oz. corkscrew pasta, uncooked
8 oz. bottle Italian dressing (oil-based, not creamy)
1 bag frozen California-style veggies (carrots, cauliflower and broccoli)
1 can whole pitted black olives, drained
8 oz. cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes
Place frozen vegetables in large colander in sink. Cook pasta according to package directions, and pour over vegetables in colander to drain. Toss drained pasta and vegetables in a large bowl with dressing (depending on your taste, you may want to buy a larger bottle of dressing and add more before serving if the salad seems too dry to you). Add olives and cheese and toss again. Chill before serving.
