SASeaWorld Would love to use this circle to chat about our upcoming adventure as well as our challenges as Mom's. One of the things that is on MY mind right now is that Mommy guilt. Leaving my husband to tend the flock (I have three) isn't so bad, he is totally capable, but still there is that nagging voice in the back of the head that I shouldn't leave to just have fun. Do you ever feel that way, or is this just me?

halemom I know the feeling! Saturday will be the first day I'll leave my daughter for more than an hour or so, but the lovely ladies Julie and Kami have come up with a good solution for us so I can still be able to get to participate and be there for my daughter. She's going to be with my husband in a hotel very close to the park, so I feel a little better, but she's the light of my life that I can barely fathom how she'll ever deal without me. Daddy is capable of taking care of her for the hours I'll be away, but he's just not mommy. LOL. I keep running scenarios through my head on what could arise while I'm gone, but I'd rather over prepare than be caught without a rope. I think everything will go fine, but nothing can stop me from feeling that twinge of guilt either. *sigh*

Emily Isn't this just the most common feeling of all us moms?!? We'll all be there to support each other and remind ourselves that a few hours away from the kids is actually GOOD for us!!!! xo

Mommysjoy I might feel differently tomorrow once I get to the park and am not sharing my experiences with my family but right now I'm looking forward to a little mom time away. I'm confident in my hubby's care and almost a little happy he gets to see what 24 hours non-stop feels like. He hasn't had that experience yet, but I certainly have. I'll cook him a nice meal on Sunday and let him rest.
