Dallasbap I am so frustrated! My 5 year old keeps getting diagnosed (5 times to date) with Pin Worms...bless his heart he is constantly scratching. Has anyone ever heard of this and can any one tell me how to get rid of it..the worms and the itching?

Brandie Yikes! What does his doctor say and how are they treating it? IF it hasn't gone away yet and keeps coming back, I'd be going to a different doctor to find a new treatment option! (((hugs))) Hope you can get rid of it once and for all!!

Quiltndollmaker Usually it comes from playing in freshly dug up dirt somewhere. That is what the Dr. said when my son came down with it many, many years ago when we were building a new house. ((hugs)) it is a bear to treat...

inkscrblr Ugh! Gross. I had those as a kid and they had to give me some weird homeopathic remedy and also take me off sugar for quite a time. It's really awful for the child. Itchy arse all the time. Yick! I remember that terrible feeling. Poor little guy. I know that we got rid of mine when I came off sugar and there was back then a homeopathic like topical thing my Mom used. I would ask pharmacist. They often know better than docs. some simple tricks. Good luck!
