inkscrblr It's true. I feel the same and that was so surprising to me when I was first a homeowner. I could never grow anything when I was younger and then we moved to a house and the zen of gardening was so enjoyable that I really was hooked. I love to watch the things grow and brighten everything up. I am no landscape artist and things are kind of all over wildly blooming. And that's okay by me.

rjlight It is so satisfying to grow your own fruit and veggies! We have had strawberries for a bit. I never seem to plant enough of them. Tomatoes are starting to come and have some cucs and zuccini on the way! My grape vine is covered and my orange tree has baby oranges on it -- I am so thrilled.
