i have found you can use greek yogurt to cut at least half the cream in most foods too, besides baked goods, but its exceptional in baked goods!

The mashed bananas sound good. I know I love frozen bananas. Taste yummy as a popsicle in the summer.

Another great tip to lighten up recipes, is to prepare you muffin tins and cake pans with PAM instead of butter.

When it's warmer outside we make homemade ice cream with fresh fruit in it. We also use Splenda to cut back on the sugar intake

Greek yogurt is an amazing substitute. I did make frosting with it once and everyone liked it because we eat a LOT of Greek yogurt.

Fruit smoothies made with organic berries and fruits. I let my son help, which makes him extra excited about his snack. Now, I haven't been brave enough to try vegetables in my smoothies yet, but would like to venture out.

Lately, I've been making yogurt parfaits with apples and pears that I've sauteed a bit with cinnamon and maple syrup. Layer it with vanilla yogurt and granola and it's a healthy, guilt-free dessert/

I haven't experimented much with substituting with sweets so we just have smaller portions. Or even a chocolate cupcake with applesauce and no frosting, now THAT I have done. The kids love it. They say it tastes like there is frosting inside!
