Hey everyone!
We'll be starting in a few minutes. This is going to be so fun and YUMMY.
A few reminders! This is all text based - like a real-time blog. There is no audio or video feed, just us typing to each other.
If you have a post or comment you want to come back to later, you can "star" it using the button in the upper-right-hand corner of the post. You can also find Julie, Kristen or the co-hosts by clicking on Host Posts or Co-Host Posts at the left.
The class will go until about 1:45 pm ET or so. At 1:45, we will give away one ConAgra Foods gift bag each to three random winners.
We will have a summary up tomorrow which will provide an overview of all the delectable treats and techniques we talk about this afternoon!
Dive in, have fun, share your tips, ideas, recipes and questions. This is a delicious topic and we are so excited to get started!
Thank you all. This is a FANTASTIC group! And thank you to ConAgra Foods for partnering with us on Cooking Connections and making this possible!about 1 year ago

Easiest cupcake recipe ever: mix a can of pumpkin with a box of Devil's food cake mix, put into muffin cups and bake according to the box directions. Healthy and easy! I add chocolate chips to mine and call them muffins, but you could easily frost them to create cupcakes.

Tip 2: Place a pan filled with water on the oven shelf below your cheesecake. Adding water to the oven will help prevent your cheesecake from cracking. You can also place your cheesecake in a water bath if you prefer.

And last but not least: • Tip 3: DON’T open the oven while the cheese cake is cooking or cooling. As tempting as it may be, opening the door will cause a quick change in temperature which can cause your cheesecake to crack.

well. here is my question. i cook as an outlet - like it's my "me time" and i want to include the kiddos but I get kind of impatient with them. So I need really easy goodies to bake with them. So far I've done just boxed mixes where you just add water. Or i let them roll up the cookie balls if we do cookies. but other than that - i don't really know how to include them without my "just want everything to turn out right - right now" attitude to get in the way. any suggestions?
