Hey everyone! ConAgra Foods just launched an amazing initiative called Child Hunger Ends Here in partnership with Feeding America. If you’d like to help out, here’s a link and a quick overview of what you can do!!!
http://www.childhungerendshere.com/Html/EnterCode.html
• Go Grocery Shopping – From March through May 2011, purchase select ConAgra Foods brands and enter the code online. For each code, ConAgra will donate one meal to Feeding America – up to 2.5 million meals. Visit http://www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com and enter the eight-digit purchase code found on specially marked packages.
• Text to Donate – You can make a financial contribution to Feeding America through a mobile giving campaign. Text “FEEDKIDS” to 50555 to make a $10 donation directly to Feeding America.
• Watch the Special – On March 19 in select markets, “Child Hunger Ends Here: A Special Report,” will premiere on NBC highlighting the personal stories of families struggling with hunger and showcasing how we can work together to tackle this issue. Check local listings for viewing times. By following #ChildHungerEndsHere on Twitter during the broadcast, you can ask questions of an expert panel and learn how to get involved.
• Spread the Word – You can get more information on the child hunger issue by following ConAgra Foods on Facebook and Twitter.about 1 year ago

This may sound blasphemous coming from me but DO NOT buy frozen green beans. Some frozen veggies are good and help as components to a home cooked meal for quick prep. Beans are not one of them.

Green beans can definitely be easy! We love to steam them. All I have to do is throw them in the steamer and turn the knob. When they're done I come back and put them in a plastic container with light butter spread, garlic, salt, pepper, close the lid and shake. Perfectly coated delicious, and importantly: EASY.
