Brandie, I agree that yogurt is another good one.

Sometimes a second breakfast is in order a few hours later though ;-)

This is how I feel. ANd if I eat "heavy" food, I feel like it just sits in my stomach some mornings.
Yogurt and a fruit seems to work though.

My boyfriend has this problem, as well. I'm very curious to know if there are any suggestions!

I find scrambled eggs to be easy on tummy in the morning.

I think a small bowl of cereal and a scrambled egg are good foods for the AM. I often find myself not too hungry either, but these always sit well. And yes...fruit too!

I have that problem, too! Sometimes I can stomach yogurt in the early morning and that will tide me over til I could stomach meat or eggs.

    • Sometimes I don't feel "ready" to eat first thing in the morning. Any suggestions on how to combat that or breakfast items that are easier on the stomach first thing in the am?

Thanks :) It's also great if you're on the go and you don't have time to sit down. Totally easy to eat in the car!

Agree. The most important thing is for them to eat something healthy. And I'm fine with that being whatever they want to eat.

I will eat a tortilla filled with peanut butter, honey, and banana for breakfast. My husband thinks I'm weird.

That was a great suggestion. You're right that they don't have the preconceived ideas of what "breakfast" food are. Love the turkey sandwich idea. That actually sounds pretty good right now!

I think PBJ is a great breakfast! If we ever have to eat on the go, that's what I make on whole grain bread with a banana. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are great too.

I toast my bread and then make my PBJ sandwich for breakfast sometimes. Just makes it a little different. Still super yummy! Nothing wrong with it!

    • Little kids don't really know what foods are "breakfast" foods. My toddler often asks for PBJ for breakfast. On whole wheat bread, why not?
