We have a salsa garden going since we don't have a lot of space. We all love the fruits of our labor!

You can combine fairy house making with great literature as well. And there are some wonderful fairy movies for rainy days.

This year we planted a pizza garden. Of course, it's round and has lots of tomatoes, basil and other veggies. The kids thought it was hilarious that we were planting everything in a big circle.

YES! This is new for us this year! We have a family garden, and a smaller one just for the kids. We're getting together with some little friends soon to make Fairy Houses for our gardens.

They have learned so much from talking about it, and picking everything out. They don't even realize it!

Wow. That is fantastic. Nothing better than to see the fruits of your labor. Also great way to talk about history, food, sustainability, etc. And they taste great! Nothing better than an home grown tomatoe

So fun! That will teach them some responsibility, too. I love it!
