      I also got a babysitter and took my husband to a concert at a place that also serves dinner/wine. It was such a huge change of pace.

      We love hockey - so at Christmas we do a family hockey game. My sons do a birthday baseball game every year w/ my parents too. I think gifts of spending time together enjoying a favorite activity are great - just be sure to take pics!

      The ziplining was with Wildwater Ltd. in Chatooga, SC. They have 3 other locations around the south. But they're popping up all over the country. I found a great deal on Living Social.

      Also, one year I just promised him I'd arrange a sitter for one date night a month for the entire year. Sounds pathetic, but this wasn't an easy gift to keep some months!
