Studies show that kids are entering puberty at an earlier age. Rosalind and the co-hosts will focus on the physical changes and challenges tweens go through and how parents can help them adjust and take good care of themselves.

Some of these are hilarious! I think I'm glad I don't have a boy!

My daughter just started 5th grade and I was impressed that the lead teacher talked to all the kids about this the first day of school, emphasizing that teasing is unacceptable and that they are old enough to take care of their hygiene issues.

A little goes a long way with body mists and perfume too. My 9 year old drowns herself in it. My poor hubby, he can't stand strong scents but he has it coming from every direction!

Oh my goodness, my oldest daughter gave me son some AXE and he was using that instead of deororant!

We had the AXE episodes years ago with our oldest. It's not allowed in the house. The phrase " a little goes a long way" is lost on most tweens. Holy. Cologne.

Axe could be used as part of enhanced interrogation techniques.

Axe and sweat. A deadly combo. WE should be fighting the terrorists. We've got the best weapons. (Tween Stink)

Oh, Axe gets stuck in my throat. I feel your pain.

Mmmm... 14 year old boy stink! Axe has taken over. Don't know which is worse/better!

i realized that all the friends of my son would lay around his room AFTER a sweaty basketball game- and I had to clean the CARPET every weekend. Still didn't help.

I think some of it comes from wearing socks or not. I've noticed a difference.

I think it can be a problem with both boys and girls! And it's one thing with the cleats but what I worry about for tweens is that so many of them are reaching puberty faster and BO is one of the first and really painful ways kids tease each other. So it's really s important to talk to our kids.

Can you put deodorant on feet?

My 12 yo son was just complaining about his OWN stinky, gross shoes. :)

Not "either"--ever/

Oh, the feet. Gag.

Worst smell either. Boys hockey room and equipment. There isn't a balm for that kind of stink. It'll burn your eyes.

The girls always smelled of whatever perfume they soaked in.

I still have nightmare flashbacks to the smelly feet of my youth with Jelly Shoes

I've also realized that boys just plain STINK. From the moment they get up, and even AFTER they shower. Lord have mercy.

Is it more a boy thing? I really don't notice stinky feet with my girls all that much, even with soccer cleats...
5 months agoDeborah
Hate to admit it but my two boys get their stinky feet from their mother.

Well my son thinks his stinky feet are funny!

My daughter is 11 and hers doesn't stink like his...Is it those hightops where there feet can't breath? Is this the source or is it really their feet?

Aly is three and just started playing soccer. It's so cute. But the shoes already...ewwww.

It's really hard to convince the kids that they smell bad. They don't get it... or they don't care.

One thing that gets to me is they don't seem to smell it on themselves! What's that all about? I know my nose isn't that sensitive... well, it is when I'm pregnant but, it's not the case here. Lol!

After spending a day after an all day field hockey event, i piled the girls into the van. They removed their cleats and socks and I almost DIED. I would have performed mouth to mouth on myself, had I not been passed out. Holy Cheezus.

So true... it starts with the stinky feet. My kids will take off their shoes in the car and we have to roll down the windows because we can barely breath.

Oh my 11 year old's soccer cleats should be buried!!!!

I don't have any 'stink' stories w/ my kids yet - but my oldest will get to the point pretty much any day now (she's 10-1/2). Her face when I explained what deodorant is for a few years ago was priceless though!

It's always the feet/shoes, isn't it? Well, at least that's first!

My son is only 8 but has the stinkiest feet ever! Oh my!
