Pomegranates! Love them, but ever since they became popular and 'trendy,' they're so much more expensive!

I agree about foods getting a "superfood' label and getting trendy (and priced up).

It is all about a balanced diet, eating in season, eating local if you can...

Alot of super foods are kale, gogi berries, raw cacao, etc.

Unfortunately, in a lot of cases, when foods get the label super food they start to cost more at the store. Super foods, in my book, are all fruits and veggies. They all have their own amazing qualities.

What super foods are you trying to incorporate? I'm curious!

I know honey is a super food, but that's the extent of it! What exactly does "super food" mean ... and do you have any other examples?

I have a sponge but change it often and otherwise am like Deborah with a lot of wash cloths!

Sponges are gross! I am thankful my 11yo does dishes.

I change ours weekly at least. They touch food then they sit there with the food bacteria on them, so I find myself throwing them out pretty often.

Sponges give me the creepy-crawlies. I have a ridiculous system of wash clothes.

Just a note, everyone, that it should be wet when you microwave it. Don't want anyone starting fires in their house by microwaving a dry sponge. :)

    • I've heard that the germiest thing in the house is usually the kitchen sponge. I microwave mine periodically and replace it often ... it's one of those things you don't think about as a haven for bacteria, because it's covered in soap!!
