I’ve been working in public relations and marketing for 10+ years, and more than six of those years have been with The Motherhood. I was the agency’s first employee at our Pittsburgh HQ in 2010, and following relocations to Seattle and then the Midwest (where I’m from originally), I now handle client services and coordinate creative campaigns from Chicago.
Earlier in my career, I spent nearly four years at Chicago PR and advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt working for clients in a variety of industries, including food, education, finance and travel. Prior to that, I worked for the PR and marketing team at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago and was a staff writer for Editor & Publisher magazine in New York City and the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Wis. I graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University with a degree in journalism.
Although I have a love/hate relationship with useless knickknacks and struggle to throw anything away, I travel light. I’ve visited 15 countries on four continents and 39 of the 50 states in the U.S. (plus the District of Columbia), and aside from a six-week term studying abroad in college, I’ve never checked a bag.
