We are thrilled to announce that the Public Relations Society of Pittsburgh awarded The Motherhood two Awards of Merit last night at the Renaissance Awards ceremony:
For Best Social Media Campaign: The Motherhood’s program on behalf of the National Wildlife Federation.
For Best Online/Social Media Tactic – Blogger Outreach: The Motherhood’s social media program on behalf of Rinovum Women’s Health.
Following are highlights of the two award-winning programs:
The National Wildlife Federation e-Book
The Motherhood teamed up with the National Wildlife Federation’s Be Out There movement and a fantastic group of 15 blogger authors to crowd-source, design, edit and publish Be Out There: Cool Outdoor Ideas for Hot Summer Days, an e-Book to help families get their kids outside more during the hot summer months. The Motherhood and the bloggers participated in a nationwide blog tour and Twitter party to get the word out on the program and the e-Book.
Thank you to the National Wildlife Federation and the wonderful blogger authors for partnering with us to create the award-winning publication and program:

Rinovum Social Media Campaign
In partnership with Pittsburgh-based Rinovum, a privately held women’s health company, The Motherhood helped to bring attention to a new prescription product called The Stork, a fertility solution that is less invasive and less expensive than other available treatments.
The Motherhood hosted a series of virtual briefings connecting The Stork with dozens of mom bloggers who had experienced infertility, followed by a nationwide social media campaign to raise awareness of and spark conversations about infertility issues, solutions and The Stork.
The Motherhood was honored to work with Rinovum and a terrific group of mom bloggers to bring attention to this very important topic. Congratulations on the award-winning program!
