Challenge: Primary Axillary Hyperhidrosis (PAH) is a personal topic that most are reluctant to talk about let alone share on social media. A pharmaceutical client tasked The Motherhood with finding real, authentic influencer partners who experienced PAH themselves or knew someone close to them with the condition who could be genuine advocates for spreading awareness of PAH.
Solution: Understanding the importance of a deeper vetting and identification process, The Motherhood engaged seven influencer partners – a diverse group of women of various ages and geographic locations – who were willing to speak openly about how they’ve been personally affected by PAH. Each influencer created and published four pieces of social content on their platforms, sharing their and/or their family’s unique #DearHyperhidrosis story and experiences with PAH, while also driving their followers to visit the unbranded website for more information.
Results: The campaign delivered more than 100 pieces of digital content, garnering 3.1 million impressions and more than 4,200 link clicks to the website during the campaign period.
