Cause Marketing: What Makes Moms Go Social

The Motherhood conducted a survey of social media moms to ask them how they use social media to support causes.  Among the interesting findings:

–  92% of social media moms share what they learn online about causes and charities with their friends and family offline.

– The #1 reason moms use their online networks to tell their friends about causes and charities: they were moved by what they read or saw and wanted to help (79%).

– 66% of social media moms have purchased a product because there was a cause involved.
