As you might have noticed, things look a little different around here! The Motherhood is thrilled to introduce a new look and feel for our website and brand.
When our agency was born in 2006, mom influencers and parenting campaigns were our primary focus. Since then, we’ve grown to include many campaign categories and influencer verticals: We currently work with clients in a broad variety of fields like health, finance, fashion, food — just to name a few. And our influencers now represent categories beyond moms, including millennials, technology, finance, fashion, beauty and food.
Through the last decade, our company has also developed a unique approach to influencer marketing. In a world of automated platforms and technology, The Motherhood stands out by building human connections for the benefit of everyone involved. For example, we hand-select and personally invite influencers for each campaign. We believe there is no one-size-fits-all campaign, and each campaign is customized specifically for our clients.
Following all of that experience and evolution, it seemed like the perfect time to freshen up our branding to better reflect our work and process. Thank you to local Pittsburgh company Top Hat for helping us pull our ideas, beliefs and style into a new logo and website!

Trish O’Connell, Chief Strategy Officer
Trish has an extensive background in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing in the beauty, household, OTC and personal care categories. She oversees marketing strategy and new business development, helping clients achieve their social media marketing objectives and KPIs. Prior to joining The Motherhood, Trish worked in various brand management roles within IRI at L’Oreal USA, Combe, Clairol, Energizer and Georgia Pacific.
Ali Cupelli, Social Media Account Assistant
Ali fell in love with social media while pursuing a strategic communication degree at Ohio University. She continued to pursue that career path after graduating and gained a wide range of knowledge and experience with various businesses in the Pittsburgh area. As the Social Media Account Assistant for The Motherhood, she will assist in creating blog posts and social media content, as well as working hand-in-hand with the rest of the team to identify influencers and track coverage for campaigns.
Kristina Soriano-Jacobs, Client Services
After honing her communications skills at various beauty, fashion and lifestyle agencies in New York, Kristina has happily returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh. She continues to develop communications, social media and marketing strategies for brands, collaborating on campaigns from ideation to execution. Previously, Kristina was a Senior Account Supervisor at DeVries Global, overseeing communications for clients including Johnson’s, Olay, Pantene Pro-V, Sherwin-Williams and Wella Professional.
