It’s definitely grilling season…and we know you can’t deny your love of burgers. Whether it be made of ground beef, turkey, fish or veggies, everyone has their favorite! And according to Sargento, 92% of burger-eaters like cheese on their patties.

Why? Maybe it makes it taste better, or maybe it’s just something they’ve done for their whole lives! But no one can deny that the type of cheese can definitely elevate your burger to a whole ‘nother level!

To celebrate America’s great love affair with the classic cheeseburger, Sargento has challenged chefs at iconic burger joints from coast to coast to create “America’s Ultimate Cheesburger.” Who’s included? Check out this fantastic list:

Brookyln, NY: 67 Burger “Pastrami Spiced Swiss Burger”

Miami, FL: The Filling Station “The Filling Station Cheeseburger”

Chicago, IL: Butcher & the Burger “Drill Sargento Burger”

Milwaukee, WI: Sobelman’s “Bacon Double Cheeseburger”

San Diego, CA: Crazee Burger “Crazee Cheeseburger”

For this super fun contest, each restaurant drew on local culinary flair to create their region’s ultimate cheeseburger recipe featuring at least one variety of Sargento all natural, never processed cheese. Can you say ‘YUM’?

You can support your local restaurant or favorite recipe by visiting the “America’s Ultimate Cheeseburger” tab on the Sargento Facebook page to cast your vote! And you can show your love by submitting your OWN cheeseburger recipe!
