School’s out for the summer. While summertime offers lots of bright sunny days for splashing in the pool and playing outside, it also offers a great opportunity for kids to continue learning and getting ready for the next school year. It’s also a great time to prep younger kids for their entrance into pre-school.
Summer learning doesn’t necessarily mean that kids need to be reading textbooks. There are lots of fun games and activities, both online and outdoors, that they can take part in to keep their minds sharp. Family vacations and even trips to local museums, libraries and parks can also be very enriching experiences. With so many great things to do, chances are your kids will have so much fun, they won’t even realize that they are learning!
